Abstract

A Professor for computer sciences of a German University is looking for project partners to work on a project idea called “Cloud Computing based Dynamic e-Services for Enhancement of Higher Education”. For joint developments he is looking for cooperation partners: developers and integrators of e-Learning solutions, blended e-Learning, CSCL (computer suppported cooperative learning), partners devising expertise in the modeling of e-Learning processes from various domains.

A Professor for computer sciences of a German University is working on a project idea called “Cloud Computing based Dynamic e-Services for Enhancement of Higher Education” wich will use cutting edge technologies and tools for the development and delivery of software as a service (SaaS) model. He is envisaging blended e-Learning solutions for the enhancement and upliftment of current education schemes. For joint developments he is looking for cooperation partners.
INNOVATIVE ASPECTS

The aim of the project is to introduce the concept of e-services in higher education as well as academic research. The following aspects will be addressed:

e-Assignments: the students will work on a problem assigned to them in a team and will submit the solution to the faculty which will then be discussed in class room itself. The class room forum can be initiated by the students and they can interact with their team mates and the guide from any where, any time basis.

e-Evaluation: the students will be evaluated through online MCQs which will be made available to them, on their tablet PCs and the result analysis will be made available to them immediately.

e-Notes: the students can refer to the notes provided to them during the lectures itself. so that they can refer to or supplement any model/diagrams or notes being discussed in the class room by using digital ink.
