Abstract

A Romanian inventor has developped a nonskid device for winter civil and military footwear. The main advantage of the device is that it eliminates the danger of slipping on ice or glazed frost. The inventor is looking for technical co-operation and commercial agreement with technical assistance.

The invention relates to a nonskid device for winter civil and military footwear. The device eliminates all the disatvantages of the other similar devices allready on market: complicated construction, rigid and slow walking which eliminates only partially the danger of slipping on ice.
The difference is made by the fact that the heel and sole support are horseshoe-shaped. The device exerts uniform and punctate pressure on all the slippery surface during the winter. It grows the friction and traction force by increase adherence, offering complete safety of pedestrians walking on ice, or trodden snow, excluding slip and fall hazard.
