AbstractA German SME requests technical co-operation, especially for joint further development & testing of new applications and the contribution of financial resources. The company has a patent on a new soccer-field format which allows three teams to play at the same time. Potential partners should be able to provide technical know-how and infrastructure (incl. software) for analyzing the balls movements as well as the behaviour of the players and teams. The analysis is needed for product development.DetailsSoccer as a game has a long tradition and is worldwide known. There are several modifications taking into account the environmental conditions and cultural influences (e.g. futsal, street soccer, beach soccer). All have in common that there are always two teams playing at the same time. The innovative character of the new soccer-format is that not only two, but three teams are playing in one match - this implies a modification of current rules and provokes the mental ability of each person participating in the game. Thus, the structure of interactions of people involved needs to be analyzed in order to get a robust and empirical proven basis for further training conceptualizations, the evaluation of rules and product development.Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements: The technical infrastructure (RFID-chip in balls and sport cloths) should be part of an integral software system that needs to analyse: - the speed of the ball, - ball contacts and interaction with the ball of each player, - the amount of direct passes and give-and-goes, - the localization of the ball, of playser and team movements. A potential partner should be able to support the software and appliance at practical trainings phases via telemaintenance.
