Abstract

A Romanian company is interested to acquire medium/large modern installations to produce feed for rabbits and fish and the technologies to produce such food. Type of partner sought: producer of such installations for technical cooperation and commercial agreement with technical assistance.

Details

A Romanian group of companies is interested, for its agriculture division, to acquire modern installations to produce food for rabbits and fish and the afferent technologies. The production of such food will be used in own fish farm. The fish farm is design to be developed in the beginning intensively and then extensively.
The same situation for its own warren.

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Fish food should ideally provide the fish with fat (for energy) and amino acids (building blocks of proteins) and the fish food (whether flake or pellet) must be speedily digested in order to prevent build up of intestinal gas, renal failure and infections (such as swim bladder problems and dropsy) and to avoid the pollution of farm due to excessive ammonia. Aquatic diets for carnivores must contain vegetable matter such as spirulina.
The Romanian company is searching for technology and equipments to produce food for a medium size fish farm.
Regarding the rabbits farm, rabbits feeding problems occur mainly in winter when the vegetable diets must be balanced with apropriate quantity of pallets. Pellets are basically designed for commercial rabbit production, and are quite high in calories. As a result, house rabbits fed unlimited pellets may end up with obesity and related health problems, as well as an excess of other nutrients. Pellets do have a place in rabbit nutrition, as they are rich and balanced in nutrients. However, experts recommend restricting the amount of pellets fed, and compensating with fresh vegetables. An equilibrate pellet should contain 20-25% fiber, around 14% protein (with no animal protein), and less than 1% Calcium for most house rabbits (spayed/neutered). For adults, the amount should be carefully regulated, depending on the size (weight) of the rabbit.
