AbstractA Swiss SME has developed a technology enhancing information access with very low index-to-data ratio and high relevancy in the results. The Semantic Platform is already available. Partners sought are information providers (for legal, financial information, etc) and enterprise solutions software companies for further development and adaptation to needs, including joint venture and license agreements.DetailsThe Platform consists of the following elements:1.Cognitive Knowledge Bases (CKB) are the core of information-conceptualization and are domain specific, data-centric and language independent. By managing complex & unstructured sources of data based on their concepts, rather than keywords, it has the ability to deliver innovative and breakthrough business logics. 2.Index/Engine: The content is processed through the appropriate CKB and stored in index. Only the mathematical representation is stored in Database, which enables high through-put and <1% index-to-data ratio (linear indexing time). 3.Access (API, Connectors) is provided and supports classification, clustering & aggregation, query-based and free retrieval. 4.Monitoring: a continuous relevancy monitoring ensures that CKB are updated based on information domain changes and appropriate Business Intelligence reports can be created. The technology can extract concepts out of any type of documents (text, Word, PDF, and so forth). The company is looking for a partner working as information provider, software company, data analyzer or any company working with large amount of information and needing quick and conceptual classification. Thanks to the very low index-to-data ratio, this technology allows to work and update indexation of great database. Financial, legal (…) sector are therefore concerned by this technology The Semantic Platform is already available and adaptable to existing systems. Further developments through technical cooperation or join venture are sought. License agreement is also negotiable. Innovative Aspects: The approach understands information based on its actual sense and meaning (concepts). This process far outpaces keyword-restricted and limited systems. The core strengths reside in the ability to manage and understand highly complex and unstructured information. The mathematical representation enables high through-put and <1% index-to-data ratio.
