During its first year of activity, Enterprise Europe Network in Switzerland achieved following results:

• 773 targeted contacts established between Swiss and foreign companies for business and innovation cooperation:
• 200 qualified busines partner searches.
• Targeted dissemination of 1433 selected foreign technology offers/requests to Swiss companies/research labs leading to 169 Swiss expressions of interest to establish contact and discuss further cooperation.
• Individual support of 83 Swiss companies participating in 14 brokerage events with prearranged face to face meetings => 343 selected bilateral meetings between Swiss and foreign companies with further contacts and cooperation discussion for over 50% of them.
• Targeted dissemination of 15 Swiss technology offers/requests in over 40 countries => As results, 61 foreign expressions of interest to establish contact and discuss further cooperation.
• 924 individual meetings with companies
  • 820 meetings to determine particular export needs.
  • 104 meetings to identify the transnational innovation strategy.
• 75 market reports produced
• Organisation of 66 workshops with 1196 participants: 
  • 21 innovation workshops with 476 participants. 
  • 45 country and company consulting days on European countries with 720 participants.
• 1467 queries on EU countries for Swiss businesses/on Switzerland for foreign businesses answered.

Between Spring 2008 and June 2009, support services had to be implemented in Switzerland following the merge of the former Networks "Innovation Relay Center" and "Euro Info Center" into the new Enterprise Europe Network. Hence, several Swiss institutions were informed on the new network and its support. A Swiss EEN webpage was launched with an integrated targeted diffusion system for innovation opportunities and a Swiss EEN newsletter was diffused via existing channels.
