Abstract
A Spanish public research organization has patented a new coating that functions as a color selective filter, serving to shield certain radiation in the ultraviolet range, visible or near infrared. The light selection doesn`t involve light absorption and thus avoids unwanted overheating of the coating. It`s a flexible material that adapts to different forms, providing color choice and protection. Industrial partners interested in a patent license for the exploitation of the technology are sought.
